We first starting painting happiness in homes in 2015. We are not technically brothers, just a few college students at the time who grew up together and became family. When starting the company and coming up with the name, we wanted to take our brotherly values of honesty, care, respect, and communication to that very first home we painted. We respected our customers’ time, property, hard-earned money, and gave them the best painting experience available.

That very first job showed us that our core values - paired with exceptional service - could change the way the painting services operated. Our first customer contacted 2 other companies and us. The other two didn’t answer the initial call. When they eventually got back to her, they were unable to go to the residence for a quote for another 3-4 days. Communication was weak, and the customer’s time was not being considered.

At the time, I was doing yard work for her when she called and asked if I had ever painted before. I told her no and recommended she reach out to a few local companies. She explained that she had and shared the story of her experience. I told her I only have painted a few rooms in my own house previously and had no clue how to fairly price the project. She offered to pay me whatever the first company ended up quoting.

With college bills to pay, I was willing to do the extra work, not knowing what I was getting into. I committed myself to maintain the level of professionalism, communication, and respect our relationship had already established. The project was going very well, and her neighbor from across the street came over to say hi, looked around, and asked us to paint her rental house down the street. We told her we are not painters and were not sure how to quote it.

She looked around and said we looked like painters and asked for us to walk down the street to take a look. On our walk, our current computer wizard and online marketer Ken said to me, I can make a website, and we can get some calls. I responded with, you’re telling me we just need to care about customers, time, budget, communicate well, and this can be something.

Fast forward five years and those same values have earned us top spots in the residential and commercial painting industry in multiple cities including Tampa, FL. What started out as a commitment to do the best we could for one customer has turned into a mission to paint happiness across the country.
