Feather Sound is the planned community on Old Tampa Bay in north St. Petersburg, next to Carillon and the Gateway business district, built around the Feather Sound Country Club in the 1970s and 80s. It is a mix of single-family homes on the golf course, condo and townhome communities, and a large stock of office buildings and corporate campuses just outside it.
Homes here are 30 to 40 years old and on their second or third repaint, nearly all under an association with color standards. The condo communities need board-level coordination, and the office parks give us a steady run of commercial work. Our St. Petersburg base is minutes away, and estimates are free.

Do you charge extra to come out to Feather Sound?
No. Feather Sound is part of our core Pinellas County service area. Estimates are free and there is no travel charge.
My community has an HOA. Can you help with color approval?
Yes. Many Feather Sound associations require approval for exterior colors. We supply color samples, product data sheets, and anything else your architectural committee asks for, and we work from your community's approved palette so the first submission is the last.
Do you work with condo associations and property managers?
Yes. We provide written proposals, certificates of insurance, resident notices, and phased schedules, and we can present to the board. We coordinate elevator reservations, access, and working hours with the management office.
When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Feather Sound?
October through May. Humidity is lower, surfaces stay cooler, and there are no daily afternoon storms, so paint cures evenly. We paint exteriors in summer too, working mornings and watching radar, but the dry season gives the most predictable schedule. Interior work is scheduled year-round.
Do you seal stucco cracks before painting?
Yes. Hairline cracks are filled with elastomeric patching compound and wider cracks are routed and sealed. Painting over unsealed cracks lets water in behind the coating, which is how blistering starts.
Do you paint office buildings in Carillon and Gateway?
Yes. We paint office interiors, common areas, and building exteriors with after-hours and phased scheduling. Our crews are OSHA-trained, and we provide certificates of insurance on request.
